Watery Wednesday

This is not so much a body of water as the kind of water we've been experiencing for the last seven days. I took this shot this evening as I came home from a friend's house. The clouds are nearing and the rain is coming... again! We have had some wild weather! This morning a houseboat was partially submerged in the lake. The wind was blowing and the waves were cresting over the bow. The wind has been blowing night and day for the past four days, often gusting up to 80 mph. I know we need the rain and snow but I miss the sun! Click here for more Watery Wednesday photos.

That's a wonderful photo Caprice, just gorgeous and worth enlarging it to get the full effect. I hope you get your sun back soon.

Beautiful scene you've captured here! I'm so sorry it's been raining so much there - I've watched The Weather Channel & saw where you guys are getting so much rain. Your sun will come back - hopefully soon!!!

I love it when I can see rain from a distance. And this shot shows how wonderfull the sun sometimes breaks through the dark clouds and pouring water! Nice!

It is a great shot, with the sun breaking through the clouds, and the rain in the distance!! I love the horses from earlier in the week.
Thanks for sharing!!

Great shot with the sun rays slipping through. Looks like the hills are also starting to turn green. Glad we're getting lots of rain - we NEED it! You live in a lovely place. Hi from the SF Bay Area!

Amazing shot. It does sound like it's been pretty wild for you lately.

Send some this way! We are having brush fires in SW Florida due to dry conditions. A nice, all day gentle rain would do us some good just about now.
