Watery Wednesday- SF Shoreline

If it's Wednesday it must be Watery Wednesday! Going back to my SF trip in December: this is looking back at the San Francisco bay and skyline from Sausalito. The bridge to the left is the Bay Bridge. From the famous Ferry Building in SF we ferried across and walked through the quaint town of Sausalito then had a fabulous lunch at The Spinnaker Restaurant. It sits at the very edge of the inlet and has windows the whole length of the building that look out to SF and the bay. It was a little rainy and very overcast so it's a little gray but still a nice shot of SF. The ferry driver took us really close to Alcatraz Island. I've never toured it and have no desire to but it was cool to get so close. To see more Watery Wednesday photos, click here.

You looked like you had a fun-filled yummy day in the city. I'm showing something closer to your home today.

That's a classic view and you captured it beautifully. I'll have to go back to Sausalito...it's so close but I don't get over that way very often. I'll put it on my to do list. Enjoy the rain!

Beautiful photo. And those yellow flowers, they are so pretty. Yes I cant wait for summer. Summer time is camping time, traveling and more camping. Thanks for visiting my site. Hope you have a wonderful day day!

Great photo. Love the cityscape in the backgroun and those pretty flowers in the front. I've only been to Frisco once. We took that boat ride around Alcatraz too but never went in there either.

This is a pretty cool shot. I was able to visit back in 2000 with my son. That's a fun place huh!

I love the yellow flowers in the foreground. Sort of balances the city in the distance!
