SkyWatch Friday- Lake Don Pedro

Big, billowy thunder clouds soar above Lake Don Pedro. This was taken last year but could easily be today. We have sunshine now but the clouds are moving in and more rain is expected later this afternoon. Happy SkyWatch Friday! For more SkyWatch Photos from all over the globe, click here.

The tops of the clouds sort of echo the lines of the hills!
Cool!

beautiful place, i hope to return someday.

i drove off under bright sunshine at 8 am; right now at 1 pm the rain clouds are back; i am not complaining, the more rain we get the better.

Hi, Caprice - Sorry about that! Annie is my hairy little dog, and when the melt comes, she will be mud from her nose to her tail, like your lovely horses!

Thanks for visiting my blog, Caprice. My cat from "sketches and messes" will be posted today, I just have a couple of little things to do. I always leave my drawings/paintings up around the house somewhere for a day or two, just to see if there is something else I need to do to it.

I don't do skywatch because most of the year our skies just don't change. Only once in a while do we get an interesting one. But I'm not complaining, believe me!!

Excellent capture. I love when the cloud shapes reflect the mountains. Beautiful country.

This is a really pretty scene. I love the colors and the boats in the background. We too have been having such dramatic skies...it's such a nice change from the usual blue cloudless skies. I hope your lake starts to fill up with water! Hi from San Ramon...
