Hi Caprice, Thanks for visiting! Photoshop is not hard, you just need to practice a bit....and read the manual...which I hate doing!lol! Your photos are beautiful...and it helps to have a beautiful place in which to photograph! Right now it's gray and yuck here!
That is a beautiful photo Caprice. Thanks for your visit to my blog, isn't it funny that you have a dog called Cosy too? If she is half as sweet as our Cosy was, you cannot have a better friend!
This makes me miss the view from my father's old place in Porterville, looking up at the hills towards Springville(? I think that's the name). Our family is from the other side of the Sierras, so our view was always much more angular and dramatic. I loved contrast of the rounded, rolling foothills. Living in Texas I get flat prairie sunsets, which can be beautiful, but don't often invoke nostalgia. Thanks for this--and the reminder about the Snake Moon. Cultures that name moons often have very different things to name them after.
Wow, that's a beautiful sunset, Caprice. My first thought was raspberry ripple ice cream! After seeing all those lovely layers I then noticed the little white puffy clouds down below, set against the blue - so beautiful. Janice.
Don Pedro Lake- Beautiful Gold Country in the Sierra Nevada Foothills, California, United States
This is a place where I can share my faith in God, my photographs and the beautiful place that I live with my son.
All of the photos on my blog were taken by me. Please do not copy any photos without my permission.
Lake Don Pedro is located in the Sierra foothills of California, 45 minutes east of Modesto, 40 minutes south of Sonora and 40 minutes north of Merced. It stradles Mariposa and Tuolumne County in the unincorporated areas of La Grange and Coulterville. Minutes from two recreational lakes, Lake Don Pedro and Lake McClure, for summer water sports, and a short drive to the historic gold rush town of Jamestown and Yosemite National Park. There is much to do here including swimming, water skiing, jet skiing, houseboating, sailing, fishing, lakeside camping, hiking, climbing, horseback riding and some great shops and restaurants to visit.

Soft layers of colours - very pretty. Thanks for your comments on my sunrise over the sea.
Beautiful pink skies. I like how the clouds are below that hill, too.
Great photo!
