Rain, Rain, Go Away . . .

My girls, Sandy (R) and Dani (L)

I said it before, I know we need it! But wow, would I like to see the sun!
There is mud everywhere. The area behind the barn where I usually feed the horses is slop so I've moved them into another area even though it means they have to eat their hay off the ground. The picture above was a few days ago when the girls were just a little muddy. Now they are both mud all over- not just their faces.

I know they're not perfectly focused pictures but I thought they looked sweet together.

We said goodbye to Jack on Saturday. He went to his new home and hopefully he will start his training and get the attention that he deserves. We will miss him.
Sandy is now queen of the pasture and is enjoying being in charge. It's a first for her because she's always been on the bottom of the pecking order.

That is a nice photo. Mine are all mudballs right now, we need the rain but I hate the mud

We do not have mud yet, but Annie was in the burrs this morning. At least she is smaller than a horse...
