I didn't realize how long it's been since I added a post. Nearly a year? Where did the time go? Kinda like looking at baby pictures of your 15 yo son who now towers over you!
I have really been inspired lately to get back to my photography. My love for taking photos comes from my Grandpa Harry who loved to take family pictures. From birth to death, he had every one of his brothers, sisters, mother, father, cousins, nieces, nephews and of course, the three grandchildren carefully pasted into many photo albums.
Thanks to my great friend Wanda I found Skywatch Friday and I love looking at the world from my little spot here on the hill in Lake Don Pedro! I appreciate the domestic views of the sky however I love to venture around the globe to see that fog in Dubai looks an awful lot like fog in San Francisco! And clouds in Sydney, Australia look a whole lot like clouds in La Grange! Along with great clouds and fog, I can get a peek into life around the world as well, if it's written in English that is! I found Nadia's posts about the differences about her Indian husband and herself being Pakistani absolutely fascinating! Not to mention she is a wonderful writer! It is truly a joy to learn about Laos from a Laotian and about life in British Columbia from someone who grew up there. If you haven't ventured here I highly recommend it. Look at the sky but then take a peek a little further into these other lives. Would that be considered peeping?
There are so many wonderful photographers out there and I want to be one of them. I love nature photography and have a nice collection that I will start to post here. but first!
I have a Grandbaby! His name is Kody Boatright and he was born in August of 2008!
My first picture of 2009 has got to be Kody!
Kody and Daddy, Jeremiah. They live in Oklahoma and I miss them very much. Kody is 5 months old now and weighs 17 lbs. This picture was taken when he was just a few weeks old when Raymond and I went to Oklahoma.
I keep telling my son that he has to tell Kody all about his California Grandma!!!
And Uncle Raymond . . .
And Grandma Caprice . . .
